U2

U2 is an Irish rock band which formed in 1976 in Dublin, Ireland. Since the band’s formation, they have consisted of Bono (real name Paul Hewson) (vocals, guitar, harmonica), The Edge (real name David Evans) (guitar, keyboards, backing vocals), Adam Clayton (bass) and Larry Mullen, Jr. (drums, percussion). The band is the biggest selling alternative rock act of all time, having sold 140 million albums worldwide as of 2008. They have won 22 Grammys and were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2005. As of 2009, they have released 12 albums and 58 singles.

UCast

Alex Tsygankov known as dj UCast started playing music in 2006. And at that very time he had just a taste of writing music. Several months later his first track - Through Depth – was released via one of the Russian record labels - 4 Seasons. Full Access (Belgium), Bitter Sweet (Holland), Only One Records (Spain) and Sundesire Records, Tranceport, 4 Seasons (Russia) are among the record labels via which his tracks have been already released. Such glittering stars of the modern trance stage as Tiesto, Aly & Fila, Ronski Speed gave their approval to his creative work.

Udgata Anagh

Barely sixteen, Udgata Anagh was an obvious child prodigy. Besides his talent with gadgets and computers, he was becoming a whiz kid for a genre quite uncommon for his age. Year 2007 began with him producing music – lots of it, some of which was for movies and documentaries produced in different corners of the world. Within a few months, many of his experiments became passé for his emerging interest, and he knew Electronic Dance Music was what he was after.

Uffie feat. Pharrel Williams

Uffie (born Anna-Catherine Hartley on December 9, 1987) is an American MC. She was born in Miami, raised in Hong Kong and now lives in Paris. According to the ADD SUV Songfacts, her performing name Uffie comes from the French words "Un Oeuf "(an egg), a nickname her father gave her as a child for being so rowdy. After getting a limited promo release on Arcade Mode in January 2006, she was signed to Ed Banger Records and released Pop the Glock and Ready to Uff. Later that year two more tracks were available online: Hot Chick and In Charge.

Ulrich Schnauss

Ulrich Schnauss was born in the northern German town of Kiel in 1977. During his formative years, he came to love a wide spectrum of music, ranging from My Bloody Valentine to Tangerine Dream, from Chapterhouse to early bleep and breakbeat tracks. There was not much opportunity to see his musical heroes in Kiel, so he moved to Berlin in 1996. By that time, Ulrich was already a prolific musician in such genres as ambient and drum and bass, with a variety of pseudonyms (most notably View to the Future and Ethereal 77).

Ultimate

At least two artist known as Ultimate: 1. Ultimate is Lomakin Dmitriy a young progressive and melodic trance producer and DJ. Was born in 1987 in Moscow Region (Shyolkovo). He was interested in music from the early childhood, then he was actively studying piano. Later Dmitriy got interested in electronic music. After a year of active music craft learning, in 2008 Dmitriy creates his first track Lost Forever released at British label Resonate. At the moment Ultimate works with labels Resonate, Abstraction, Tranceflo, Unearthed, Shah Music, Well Mixed.

Ultraviolet

There is more than one artist called Ultraviolet: 1) Ultraviolet is a one-man Spanish synthpop act, whose sole member is Javier Martin. Born in 1976, in Ljubljana, Slovenia, Uroš Umek began DJing in 1993. He and his friends helped develop the dance music scene in Slovenia, and between them they were responsible for putting on the first large scale parties in Slovenia. The result has been that Umek is Slovenia's most famous techno DJ, and a prolific producer.
