Xenia Beliayeva

So that we do not misunderstand each other: Xenia Beliayeva is not an easy to enjoy sweet snack, neither as a producer nor as a DJ. Her arrangement of electronic music brings forth the demanding creatures of the night, which approve the sound as a central stylistic medium, but last but not least she adds a further sensual element with the addition of her voice. Not only "Ultra Glamour", but also "Hellraiser", to speak in her song titles. But first lets start from the beginning.

Santiago Ferrer, also known as Santi Xpansul, started djing in 1993. Since then, he has played in most of the biggest clubs and festivals all over Spain and Europe. Regarding music styles, after more than thirteen years behind the decks, we could say that Santi Xpansul’s sound is techno. Nowadays, his sets are a journey through electronic dance music, in which the “axis” Detroit-Chicago-Berlin-Cologne is the driver and all his other musical influences are the passengers.

X-Press 2 feat. James Yuill

X-Press 2 first burst onto the international club scene in 1993 with the demented sirens, typewriter-noise percussion and dance floor pyrotechnics of Muzik Express. The three DJs, Ashley Beedle, Rocky and Diesel all from unfashionable suburbs of London, had each played leading roles in the capitals cooler, more influential club scenes. Their first studio session left them cold theyd intended to sample an old Cloud One track but that typewriter percussion noise was all that survived. Everyone else disagreed.
